Rebecca Law Elliott
Rebecca has been active in the Fitness industry since the age of 17 when she began working at a Gym as a Fitness Instructor. Rebecca maintained her activity levels through Scuba diving, Sailing and Fencing. She discovered Pilates in the early 1990’s after fracturing two vertebrae in her back while boating. Rebecca found that Pilates not only helped her back but also provided her with the strength and flexibility necessary to keep her active throughout her life.
As a Pilates Method Alliance Certified Pilates Teacher, Rebecca brings a deep understanding of Pilates principles and exercises to her classes and her privates sessions. She has been an active Teacher for over a decade, teaching on multiple pieces of equipment to include the Reformer, Tower, Barrel, Chair as well as Mat Classes. As a licensed Buff Bones Pilates Instructor, she brings the benefit of a wide selection of Pilates methods to her clientele.
Rebecca experience as a student and an instructor in the Pole Fitness Industry. Pole adds upper body strength, especially for women but Rebecca quickly gained Pilates students through teaching Pole because of the strong need for Core Strength. My Reformer Pilates students saw the quickest advance in their Pole workouts.
Rebecca is a qualified TRX Suspension and RIP training Instruction as well as a Certified Barre Fitness Instructor. She strongly feels that both Barre Fitness and TRX compliment each other as well as Pilates and clients that take advantage of all of these trainings, will greatly benefit and feel the difference that variation of training can provide.
As a U.S. Navy Veteran and a sports enthusiast in track & field, swimming and an avid Rugby Player for over 4 decades, Michael's involved himself in the sports arena throughout Europe and the United States. Upon completion of his tenure in the military he studied sports & fitness performance and conditioning, proper weight training for athletes and nutrition with an emphasis in preventing sporting injuries and tapping.
Michael is a Qualified Personal Trainer while conducting and coaching classes in Tabata and Weight Training, having an understanding of human performance related to common sports injuries, Michael has found that using the TRX Suspension, RIP Training coupled with Weight Training and Frog Fitness equipment helps in the rebuilding and strengthening of not just the injury itself, but to the body’s entire Core.
Michael has taken on the role as a Level 300 Certified Coach through USA Rugby and currently coaches with a local club here in Naples. Michael is passionate about coaching youth and young adults to improve their performance in all sports.
